Wills · for your own plan
A will, and the papers that belong beside it
A will says who gets what, who’s in charge of it and who raises your children if you can’t. Our will plan adds the powers of attorney and the health care directive most people need at the same time. One flat fee, for one person or a couple.

In the will plan
Six documents, drafted together so they agree with each other.
Your will
Who inherits, in what shares, and who serves as executor, with a backup for each.
Guardians for children
The person you want raising minor children, and who manages money left to them.
Financial power of attorney
Someone you trust to pay bills and handle accounts if you can’t.
Health care power of attorney
The person who speaks with doctors for you when you can’t speak for yourself.
Health care directive
Your wishes about life support and comfort care, in writing.
Beneficiary review
We check your retirement accounts and life insurance forms against the will.
Wills: the short answers
Do I need a will if we own everything jointly?
Joint ownership passes the house and accounts to the survivor, but not after the second death, and it names no guardian for children. The will covers both.
Can I change my will later?
Yes. A change after signing is a short amendment, quoted flat before we start, or a new will if much has changed.
Where are the originals kept?
You keep the signed originals. We keep scanned copies in your client folder and can store an original in our safe at no charge.
